The location of the apartment was great. Tropea is wonderful. The apartment was disappointing. There were two couples. The second bedroom was separated from the rest of the house by a curtain. It had no windows so there was no air coming in unless you had the curtain open. The balcony overlooking the sea was tiny - you could only stand on it. There was no washing machine. There was nowhere close by to park a car, although you do not need a car in Tropea. |

The unit was very clean and matched our expectations. The heat unit downstairs was not working properly, and cold and humidity (due to weather conditions)were a little bit of a problem. I would recommend keeping a small portable heater on hand, also to warm up the bathrooms and the second bedroom (areas not covered by the actual heating system). My family and I enjoyed our stay, and we hope to be back soon.

Great location, nice apartment. The contact, Louise, was very helpful. Dish washer runners were broken. Some blockage of water in wash basin of second bathroom. A mid-week clean would have been nice, especially as few cleaning materials were provided. The welcome bottles of wine and water were a nice touch. |

The quality of the accommodation, its location in Tropea, and the environment are all superb. We feel very fortunate to have discovered Il Convento della Pietà -- it helped very much to make our visit to Tropea highly enjoyable and memorable. |
