His Opinion: We stayed for 14 days in La Vicinia, a 2 bedroomed, 2 bathroomed house in the grounds of the castle. It was really lovely, and the website photos are accurate. The Contessa is a wonderful host, and nothing is too much trouble.The area is best explored by car, though in that time we were left with lots left to find. There are many places to eat in the vicinity, but we found that the local large supermarket supplied us with most needs...who wants to sit inside a restaurant when we had the loveliest back garden and covered medieval portico to eat in. A wonderful base for exploring Friuli,and the house makes an excellent choice for 2 couples.

His Opinion: Everything was really execellent, furnished in very good taste,clean, beautiful and very romantic place. Kinde and obliging staff. Rich and delightful breakfest. We return with our friends next time!!!

His Opinion: Es war traumhaft! Äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, eine herzliche familiäre Atmosphäre dank der guten Seele Nydia, die uns jeden Morgen unser Frühstück kredenzte, und ein wunderschöner Park. Auch unser achtjähriger Sohn hat sich wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen wieder!

His Opinion: Wir können das persönlich geführte Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es war eine herrliche Zeit in einer prachtvollen Umgebung.

His Opinion: Die herzliche und großzügige Begrüssung durch Contessa Gabriella und die fürsorgliche Betreuung durch Nadia und Nidia gibt einem das Gefühl alter Freundschaft. Ausserdem ist das kleine Gasthaus an der Ecke ideal gelegen und die Küche ausgezeichnet.

His Opinion: Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen, die Zimmer sind sehr gediegen eingerichtet, hervorzuheben ist noch die absolute Sauberkeit und das Bemühen die Gäste zufriedenzustellen. Ein etwas anderer Urlaub abseits vom Trubel mit einer persönlichen Note.

His Opinion: Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer herrlichen Athmosphäre. Die besondere Gastfreundschaft und die sehr geschmackvolle und gelungene Renovierung des Schlosses haben dazu beigetragen, dass die Woche ganz fantastisch war! Hoffen auf noch viele schöne Stunden in Strassoldo!

His Opinion: Tolle Unterkunft in super Athmosphäre. Vor allem die Herzlichkeit war aussergewöhnlich mit der wir empfangen wurden (z.B. private Führung durch das Schloss, empfangen mit Begrüssungsprosecco, etc.) - wir haben uns wie zu Hause in dem tollen Anwesen gefühlt. Wer wirklich relaxen will in Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit ist hier gut aufgehoben. Für Aktivitäten sind Ausflüge notwendig - die Gegend hat aber sehr viel zu bieten.

His Opinion: A wonderful place! The atmosphere is totally relaxing and exquisit, the very personal approach of the countess to host guest in her private property is unique and superb. It is the ideal location for couples looking for the "individual approach" and not needing the usual tourism facilities like a swimming pool, TV, hotelbar, etc
