Fragsburg Castle’s history began about 400 years ago when it was a hunters’ refuge in the mountains, surrounded by subtropical vegetation with apple orchards and vineyards.

The bedrooms are on two floors of the original building and also a pretty independent cottage in the valley bottom. Particular attention has been paid to the choice of furnishings with their detail, fine fabrics and harmonious colours. Most of the rooms have balconies, some offering a wonderful view of the city and valley. Quality of raw material, love of tradition and thorough knowledge of the preparation of dishes are the fundamentals of their high quality cuisine.
