Commissioned in 1689 by the Prince of Palagonia, Ignazio Sebastiano Gravina Cruyllas, it is immersed in a luxurious 10-acre park. After painstaking restoration, some years ago the Murabito family opened the castle’s doors to visitors, offering the possibility to enjoy the warm welcoming atmosphere of this ancient residence.

The outside is suggestive: from the ancient towers to the park’s splendid gardens, from the Chapel to the ‘Palmento’ (wine-making cellar), to the labourers’ houses adjacent to the Castle.

Inside, large salons, lava-stone arches, fireplaces and splendid chandeliers: all the refined details of rich and ostentatious nobility.
