Ihr Kommentar: While the location of this hotel is undeniably gorgeous, the property is in awful condition and is in an URGENT need to be redone. Furniture is old and the bathrooms are pitiful for something that is supposed to be 4 stars. The curtains looked like they have not been cleaned in years. The service is ok, but the staff is unfamiliar with the region outside a radius of 5km. The breakfast and the cleaning are all poor. After having traveled the region, we discovered numerous vineyards/small hotels with rooms that have far more charm and style (and cheaper), so booking here would be a big mistake. It is a shame that such a beautiful Castel is going to such waste under current management.

Ihr Kommentar: Beautiful site, friendly staff, great pool area, free parking, free internet and good breakfast in lovely breakfast room---these are all things which make the hotel a pleasant place to stay. But this hotel needs a few changes to be a first class 4-star. We had a suite and it was fine except that the plastic shower is very flimsy, and there's not even a place to put the soap. The shower is what you might see in a one or two star hotel---unacceptable. The bar is a joke--ice machine didn't work, only one beer left and poor selection of other items. Staff are not adept at fixing drinks. Also, you should consider having at least one English language TV channel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and feel that the hotel's deficiencies could easily be fixed.

We were very very impressed and would strongly recommend to everyone who comes to area. I hope we can return!

Ihr Kommentar: The positive points : very nice and quiet place. people are very friendly The breakfast was very well Rooms are very big (small apartments) Good place to visit Sienne, Florence,.... the negative points : 1/our son ( 13 years but He has the same size and same weight as an adult) slept on a sofa bed but it was very uncomfortable. It had the springs of the bed in the back. Fortunately for him that it was only for 2 nights. 2/We hear the noise of the nearby rooms a lot But we project to return to this hotel a next time ....

Ihr Kommentar: Paesaeggio e vedute da favola, camere scadenti in rapporto alla qualità/prezzo. Zona carissima con prezzi esagerati, basta una visita alla vicina Volterra per rendersene conto. Per una cena appena sufficente si pagano 40euro a testa!!

Ihr Kommentar: We prefer a stylish bedroom suite not a small apartment with a kitchenette - had we have known this we would not have booked. The air conditioning was totally inaffective in the bedroom section and we therefore were unable to sleep. We also felt the public areas, especially the breakfast room was too hot - no air at all, windows sealed and therefore far too stuffy. The pool area is nice, with good pool furniture, and the reception staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Would we return or recommend ?- probably not - as in general we were disappointed.

Ihr Kommentar: Exellent hospitality, quiet and nice surroundings. The pool wasn't cleened in a while only negative thing I have to report. Nice breakfast. Would reccomend the place to anyone.

Ihr Kommentar: Votre hotel est magnifiquement situé . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour. (notre petit chien aussi et il n'a dérangé personne). A l'occasion, vous pourrez essayer de rendre l'escalier silencieux pour le confort de la chambre voisine. Bien sincèrement.

Ihr Kommentar: The location is Castel Bigozzi's main attraction, It ws so peaceful. The pool and hammock were major advantages. The room was not at a very high standard. The mattress of the bed was poor quality. The air conditioning was extremely noisy. The furniture was basic with no additional lamps in the sitting room area. Although the staff were excellent and the breakfast was great I'm not sure it met the 4 star rating it was given. The price of the accomodation was also relatively high and then if one used the kitchen facilities there was a LARGE charge of €15 which I think was excessive. Having said that we really enjoyed our honeymoon stay in Castel Bigozzi. A special comment on the very friendly helpful staff. I would suggest the information pack in the rooms contained more useful information on where the local shops and restaurants are so that we could look through them before asking the stff over and over. I would stay at this location again at a lower price.
