Situated directly on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, at Baveno, a characteristic tourist village near Stresa, stands "Hotel Splendid", an elegant 4-star hotel affording spectacular views of the Borromean islands and the Alps.

Nestled in a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool and solarium, the Splendid also has a private beach of fine sand, where guests can enjoy the relaxing Lake and also take advantage of canoes, pedalos and rowing boats.

Sporty guests will also find a tennis court and a gym, while for those who prefer the delights of sweet idleness, there is a Wellness Centre offering a wide range of ways to relax such as a Turkish bath, sauna, Jacuzzi, and curved and Scottish-style showers.

For maximum relaxation, the suites and junior suites come with their own Jacuzzi, some rooms have a cosy seating area and wooden floors, and all rooms are characterized by the elegant style of Zacchera hotels, equipped with all mod cons and furnished with care in every detail.

The hotel restaurant serves excellent specialities of Piedmont and Italy, and the Italian garden overlooking the Lake leads to a private Pier, where boats can take you on a pleasant tour of Lake Maggiore.
