“Castello di Spaltenna”, an ancient fortified monastery, established in Pieve and with bell tower dating from the year 1000, is a splendid example of natural medieval architecture, rich in history and legend.
The feudal village encircled by vineyards and secular woods, overlooks an idyllic valley in the heart of Chianti. From the grassy terraces in front of the castle, guests can enjoy the tranquillity and panorama of the Tuscany countryside.

The Pieve Restaurant is in the converted millennial salon of the castle and offers tradition cuisine in an elegant and creative way together with a large selection of local and national wines.
