“Relais Villa Belpoggio” is a charming 17th century villa, a classic example of an aristocratic Florentine country residence of the period, situated on the slopes of Pratomagno, between valleys and mountain, in the centre of the Florence, Arezzo and Siena triangle.

Lovingly renovated to welcome guests who appreciate the beauty of the spectacular nature and genuine tastes of the resplendent Tuscany area, today the magnificent villa and old hay-loft have ten bedrooms and suites and two apartments.

The furnishing of the comfortable and spacious lodgings have been made by local craftsmen, with numerous antiques and most have white Carrara marble bathrooms. The swimming pool has been created out of an old pool, which was used for irrigation of the fields, thus creating harmony between the works of man and the surrounding natural environment.

The view from the belvedere stretches from the Pratomagno woods to the Chianti mountains, passing over the Arno Valley down to the Chiana valley… the heart of Tuscany all in one view.

In front of the small chapel’s churchyard, and under the shade of a gigantic horse-chestnut tree or on the green lawn next to the characteristic fountain, it is easily to lose oneself in the enchantment of the past and go back to a slow and beneficial rhythm of life.

The ancient granary, where it is still possible to admire the jars that held cereals, has been transformed into a permanent Atelier, where master craftsmen of art and crafts hold beginners and refresher courses in design, painting and restoration.
