In the heart of Joyce country, this imposing structure reigns over the valley, perched up on its elevated position and overlooking majestically the lush green grounds and woodlands as far as the eye can see.

The Hughes family, current property owners having acquired the Castle from the Joyce family some time ago, have taken great care in restoring and improving the Castle to its former graceful state.

Guestrooms are spacious, airy and with views of the bucolic gardens and landscape, making for a truly restful stay.

The Abbeyglen restaurant is simply sumptuous, recommended and renowned for its gourmet, top-notch culinary delights. In the evenings be sure to drop into the resident’s lounge for some good old-fashioned musical entertainment, accompanied by the spontaneous and melodious sounds of the Steinway.
