The 4 Quarti B&B is in a historical building, built at the end of the 17th century on the site of an old medieval structure. Situated in Kassaro, in the historical part of the centre of Palermo and not far from the cathedral and the Royal Palace, it is surrounded by baroque churches and Arab-Norman monuments.

Due to its beautiful salons, in 1769 the building was the location of the “Discussion Group of the Nobility” mentioned by the Marquis of Villabianca, a noted Sicilian historian. Following the marriage of Francesco Arone, Baron of Valentino to Lady Marianna Lanza Filangieri of the Principles of Mirto, this building attained maximum splendour.

One can admire the wooden coffered ceilings decorated with country scenes and flowers, salons with al fresco painting and biblical scenes.

The bedchambers are furnished in keeping with the building and with sophisticated fabrics - a pleasant combination of the fascination of the past with welcoming modern comfort.

Still in the Arone family today, who propose the residence as a precious artistic-cultural testimony of exceptional fascination.
