These two splendid buildings are situated in one of the most beautiful places on the island of Ortigia, an enchanting place which has been declared “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO.
Magnificent and imposing, situated in front of Porto Grande (Great Harbour), the Hotel des Etrangers and the nearby Miramare, connected by a low building, directly overlook Passeggio Adorno and to the side, overlook the great belvedere and the Aretusa Fountain.
The complex has five floors and stretches towards the nearby Cathedral Square with irregular shape, due to the ancient design of the medieval city.

The style and design recall the town’s splendour at the beginning of the 20th century, with that typical Neo-classic Sicilian taste, balconies decorated with wrought-iron work and stone columns, a large imposing doorway and, inside the hotel, high-quality marble flooring, walls and ceilings enriched with plasterwork and gold-leaf friezes. The faces of Zeus, Medusa, Gelone and Arethusa, illuminated by an antique bronze chandelier, welcome arriving visitors.
