A splendid historical residence not far from the sea, “Palazzo Belmonte” is situated in one of the most idyllic of Mediterranean places – south of the famous Amalfi Coast, on the uncontaminated shoreline which stretches from Salerno to Punta Licosa. The enchanting 18th century residence of the Prince of Belmonte has absolute tranquillity, surrounded by a large park, sheltered by high stone walls and adjoining the medieval village of Castellabate in the Cilento National Park, which is a UNESCO world heritage site.
From the moment you enter the imposing gates of the refined aristocratic Palace and cross through the archway to the internal courtyard full of coloured flowers, guests are captured by the bewitching charm of the residence which is the perfect combination of ancient traditions and excellent modern comfort – an ideal place for relaxing romantic vacations, but also for those who love the sea and sport.
A pathway through the immense park leads to the freshwater swimming pool which is surrounded by bougainvillea. Further on, there is a ‘secret’ door which gives access to the private beach of fine golden sand.
