Mezzatorre Resort & SPA, at Forio d’Ischia, is immersed in a pinewood of about 17 acres and in one of the most beautiful and well-preserved oases of Mediterranean vegetation, not far from Luchino Visconti’s charming villa.
Situated on the extremity of a sea promontory, it has a unique and privileged position on the island where you can breathe in an atmosphere of ancestral tranquillity. The rooms and suites, the result of the restoration of an ancient 16th century tower, are all elegantly furnished and have independent balconies.
The two restaurants, one adjacent to the tower and the other overlooking the sea, have typical palm-leaf roofs and offer regional and international dishes accompanied by an excellent selection of wines.
On one of the tower’s terraces, which are graded down to the sea, there is a heated seawater swimming pool, but given that it is difficult not to renounce a swim in one of the most beautiful bays of the island, the hotel has an easy access to the sea allowing you to sample its freshness.
