An exclusive “Dolce Vita” hotel, the “Post Alpina Family Chalet” is a real gem of a hotel in Versciaco, 3.5km from San Candido. The new alpine village – with main house and 10 delightful alpine chalets – is situated at 1,150 m above sea level, among green meadows and pasturelands, and just a few minutes from the ski lifts of Monte Elmo – a paradise for hikers/ramblers/walkers, skiers, Nordic/cross-country skiers, and especially ideal for families.

With rucksack on your shoulders in summer, you are already in the heart of the Dolomites, with lots of destinations and different itineraries available, and with skis on in winter, you can go up the mountain or get on the cross-country ski track which passes in front of the Post Alpina and takes you in the direction of San Candido or Austria. An authentic alpine village of the past has been recreated with welcoming chalets; a nice blend of ancient fascination and four-star comfort.

Full of charm, the environment takes inspiration from the style and traditions of country life in the mountain. The apartments, all carefully decorated and furnished with taste, vary in size from 35 to 120 square metres, from the Familia Residence to the Chalet Montana.
