From Milan Malpensa Airport-- about 2 hours
Take the A8 Autostrada towards Milan. Merge onto the A26 Autostrada in the direction of Genova. After about an hour drive time, take the A21 in the direction of Torino (Turin). Exit at Asti Est (pay toll). From the exit, head in the direction of Alba. Upon nearing Alba, follow the main road in the direction of Barolo/Gallo (do not head towards Alba centro). Follow the signs for Gallo/Gallo G. Look for the signs for Valle Talloria/Grinzane Cavour. After about 300 meters you will see a sign for Sinio. From this point it is 7 km to Sinio, left turn, up the hill to the piazza. The Hotel Castello di Sinio is right at the top of the piazza, next to the only church in town.

From Downtown Milan
Take the A7 freeway towards Genova. After about an hour drive time, take the A21 in the direction of Torino (Turin). Look for the Asti Est exit and get off the freeway and pay the toll. From Turin -- about 45 min
Take the A6 Autostrada towards Savona. You will pass through a toll pay booth at Carmagnola. Continue on the A6 until you reach the Marene/Cherasco exit. After the toll booth you come to a stop sign and turn right. After a couple of km you come to a rounder, head towards Cherasco, it is actually a slight right turn at this rounder. You will wind down a small hill and come to another rounder 1 km later. Head in the direction of Pollenzo. After a few km, you come to another rounder and turn right in the direction of Roddi/Gallo/Barolo. Continue on this road, you will go through two small rounders, then come to a stop sign. Turn right in the direction of Gallo/Grinzane Cavour. You will pass through part of the town of Gallo and then take a left turn at the sign for Valle Talloria/Sinio. After a few hundred meters, veer right towards Sinio. From that point it is 7 km to Sinio, left turn, up the hill to the piazza. The Hotel Castello di Sinio is right at the top of the piazza, next to the only church in town.
