Access
From Florence airport – exit Firenze Certosa and then take the motorway to Siena – exit at Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Follow the indications of Castello del Nero and
after 5 km you will find the entrance gate on your left.

FROM FLORENCE Center
From your starting point in Florence, request indications that take you out of the city towards Porta Romana or Galluzzo, and follow the blue signs to Siena – Superstrada
Continuing out of Florence in direction Siena, you will reach the large roundabout at Certosa. Enter the roundabout and immediately take the first exit to the right towards Siena on the four lane ‘Superstrada’ (motorway); following the sign that says Siena 4 corsie.
Follow the motorway in direction Siena for 15 km.
Get off the motorway at the Tavarnelle exit.
Once you exit the motorway, turn left up the hill and follow the road through the Tuscany countryside,
After approximately 2 km. you will get to a roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout, following signs to Castello del Nero and Tavarnelle. Keep heading straight for another 800 metres until the road system forces you to turn left.
Once you turn left, you will see a sign indicating Castello del Nero on your right. Promptly take the first right towards Tignano – Spicciano. Turn left at the first intersection and follow the road for 1.8 km.
You will find Castello del Nero straight ahead

DIRECTIONS FROM PISA AIRPORT TO CASTELLO DEL NERO - approx. 110 km
Exit the Airport and turn right onto the Motorway FI-PI-LI S.G.C. (FIRENZE-PISA-LIVORNO) in direction Firenze. Continue on the FI-PI-LI for approximately 70 km, and take the exit indicating Raccordo Autostrada A1
Follow the signs towards A1 Roma in direction Roma, which will take you south on the A1 highway. You will have to pass through the toll booths.
Once on the highway, follow the A1 until you get to Firenze - Certosa exit. Pay attention as this exit is on the right immediately following a tunnel.
Get off the A1 highway at Firenze - Certosa and continue through the toll booths.
After the toll booths, you will reach a large roundabout. Enter the roundabout and immediately take the first exit to the right towards Siena on the four lane ‘Superstrada’ (motorway); following the sign that says Siena 4 corsie.

FROM MILAN – Malpensa Airport, 380 km
Exiting the airport of Malpensa, you must follow the indications to Milano – Autostrade; you will reach the Autostrada A8 , your directions is towards Bologna and you will be taking the Tangenziale Ovest A 50
Close to Milano take the Autostrada A1 towards Bolonga on the A1 highway, pass Bologna following forward to Firenze Roma follow the until you get to the exit Firenze - Certosa exit. Pay attention as this exit is on the right directly following a tunnel.
Get off the A1 highway at Firenze – Certosa exit and continue through the toll booths.
After passing through the toll booths, you will reach a roundabout. Turn immediately right towards Siena on the four lane motorway or ‘Superstrada’ ; the sign says Siena 4 corsie.

FROM Rome Airport Leonardo da Vinci – 270 km
From the airport exit, follow the signs towards Autostrada A12 – Civitavecchia ; by following these green signs will enter the Autostrada A12 to the north through a toll booth.
Follow the A12 highway until it ends.
From here onward follow Aurelia SS1 Grosseto; this road will lead you to Orbetello and Grosseto.
Approaching Grosseto, get off the motorway at the Roselle & Siena exit.
Follow the two lane way to Siena.
When approaching Siena, keep to the direction of the signs indicating Firenze
Get off the motorway at the San Donato exit.
Turn left following signs to Tavarnelle following signs to Castello del Nero.
Take a left turn at the indications of Tignano – Spicciano.
Turn left at the first intersection and follow the road for 1.8 km.
You will find Castello del Nero straight ahead.
