To reach "Le Grand Hotel Courmaison" take the A5 exit Courmayeur, then follow the round terrace and go back in the direction of Aosta for 200 meters. After the fork for Verrand, before Pallesieux village, turn left and follow road markings.

The cross-country skiing ring under Les Grandes Jorasses in Ferret Valley, the excursions with snow shoes, the eliski, the sport centre with its ice rink for ice skating, tennis, squash and indoor climbing will satisfy all those who like sport.
It is also possible to go skiing on the French mountainside, in the skiing area of La Thuile, 20 minutes driving from the hotel
Finally in the area you will find more than 200 km of tracks in the beautiful Ferret and Veny Valleys, where you can reach a lot of mountain refuges, the Golf Club in front of the Grandes Jorasses, you can go rafting on Dora Baltea river or you can go for an excursion with the mountain bike; horse-riding, tennis, free climbing and Quad excursions complete the offer of this beautiful area.
But if you want to explore a beautiful island, the Aosta Valley, rich of nature, art and architecture, is the perfect place to do it. You can reach the tracks of Gran Paradiso Park, visit Fénis, Saint Pierre, Sarre, Issogne castels, the ancient roman city in Aosta and a lot more.
In about 30 minutes, through Monte Bianco tunnel or Piccolo San Bernardo pass, you can go to France where you can visit Chamonix, the world’s mountaineering chief town or the elegant Megève or Annecy with its lake (1h30) and, in one hour and 20 minutes drive, you can reach Geneve, on Lemano lake and Martigny in Switzerland
