HOW TO GET THERE
Umbria is in the centre of Italy. Spello is in the heart of Umbria. Here are the directions to reach Spello
by car:
* from Florence – Take the A1 motorway south towards Rome to the Val di Chiana exit. From there take the state highway SS 327 and then the SS 75bis to Perugia (it will take another 25 minutes to reach Spello) and continue towards Assisi-Foligno to the Spello exit.
* from Rome – Take the A1 motorway north towards Florence to the Orte exit. From there take the state highway SS 204 to the junction with the E45; at this point follow this route towards Todi-Perugia, then continue towards Assisi-Foligno to the Spello exit.
BY RAIL:
- From the North, the Florence-Rome line, Terontola station.
- From the South, the Rome-Orte-Florence line.
- From the Adriatic, the Ancona-Foligno line.
