The Residence "Torre di San Martino" lies in the gentle hill country of Piacenza, in the heart of the Trebbia Valley, a welcoming area rich in history. Rivalta is easily reached from the motorways from the Piacenza exits.
How to reach “La Residenza Torre di San Martino”
By Car:
Autostrada (Highway) A1 MILANO – NAPOLI:
Exit at Piacenza Sud/Est (South/East) and turn right towards the city center; enter the city ring road heading towards Parma (STADIO).
Fully drive the ring road until reaching the last compulsory exit (GALLEANA) where you will meet a roundabout. Entering it, you need to choose the second exit, showing GOSSOLENGO - AGAZZANO.
At this point you will already be able to note the Rivalta Castle signs. Keep going and turn right at the junction indicating GOSSOLENGO - RIVALTA.
Once at the small roundabout (no road signs) turn left and follow the main road for approximately 10 km (brown tourist signs with “Castello di Rivalta” on them will show you the way).
Turn right towards GAZZOLA-AGAZZANO leaving the main road and keep driving until the end of the bridge on the Trebbia river, you should already be able to see the Castle on your left-hand side.
Turn left and keep driving for 1 km approaching the majestic Castle of Rivalta and once there, turn left entering the driveway of the Village.
FREEWAY A21 TURIN-PIACENZA:
(Closed till 20.12.06 please use South/ East Exit)
Exit at Piacenza Ovest (West) and keep going on this road, crossing 6 traffic lights.
At the sixth traffic light turn right towards Gazzola -“Castello di Rivalta” and follow the main road indicated by brown tourist signs with “Castello di Rivalta” on them for approximately 10km. (brown tourist signs with “Castello di Rivalta” on them will show you the way)
Turn right towards GAZZOLA-AGAZZANO leaving the main road and keep driving until the end of the bridge on the Trebbia river, you should already be able to see the Castle on your left-hand side.
Turn left and keep driving for 1 km approaching the majestic Castle of Rivalta and once there, turn left entering the driveway of the Village.
By train:
Train line Milano – Bologna – Roma stopping at Piacenza. (we provide a paying taxi service linking the train station to the Village to be agreed with the Reception).
