Maratea is the only outlet of Basilicata on Tyrrhenian Sea and it wedges oneself in the Gulf of Policastro with its 30 km of coast, between the Campania and the Calabria. It has an immense and hilly territory, that seems sometimes to peak, sometimes on the sea, constituting therefore a sweetly wild scenery that rendered famous coast of charming and rare beauty.

Motorway A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria, exit at Lagonegro Nord, then take the SS 585 Valle del Noce, exit Maratea and SS 18.
