HIGHWAY
To reach Pescasseroli an dthe National Park of Abruzzo is easy. The distance from Rome and Naples is the same. If you come from Rome and the North of Italy we suggest two itineraries: 1) Highway (A24-A25) Rome Avezzano - Pescara to the exit Pescina (Km 133 from GRA) - SS83, troughr the Devil's Pass (1400m), and S.p.17, trought Bisegna; both roads lead to Pescasseroli and to the most important spots of the Park; 2) Highway (A2) Rome-Naples to Frosinone- ss214 to Sora-ss509, panoramic mountain road, to Forca D'acero (1535m), Opi. If You come from Naples we suggest :Highway (A2) Naples - Rome to the exit Caianello - SS85 to Venafro - freeway to Cerro Volturno and to Rionero Sannitico - SS83 to Alfedena.
