The Antica Residenza I Capricci di Merion, situated near the Lake Transimeno in the heart of the beautiful Umbria region,is a carefully restored Liberty style villa dedicated to the noblewoman Lady Merion during '800.
All rooms are inspired by the passion of Merion for painting, art and music. Each room takes its name from a historical figure of the time and is elegantly furnished with with handcrafted furniture and ceilings with exposed beams.
Surrounded by its lush and green park, with olive groves and a wonderful view over the surrounding valleys, the villa disposes of a swimming pool on two levels, filled with salt water, and a whirlpool corner.
The restaurant of the property offers traditional local cuisine , served in the park during summer, or inside the convivial rooms during other times of the year. The dishes are accompanied by a rich selection of national and regional wines.
Finally, for lovers of well-being, the hotel disposes of a relaxation area with whirlpool, sauna and massage rooms.
