Formentini Castle Golf Hotel is in the centre of the 17th century San Floriano vine-growing area, once surrounded by walls and where some of the best D.O.C. Italian wines are still produced today. It is between Udine and Trieste, above Gorizia – an important citadel of the Hapsburg empire.

The Hotel has prestigious rooms and the Torre della Bora suite with its special noble atmosphere, is in one of the castle’s towers.
