Formentini Castle Golf Hotel is in the centre of the 17th century San Floriano vine-growing area, once surrounded by walls and where some of the best D.O.C. Italian wines are still produced today. It is between Udine and Trieste, above Gorizia – an important citadel of the Hapsburg empire.

Countess Isabella Formentini’s family has resided here for 400 years, and she and her staff welcome you warmly, making your stay as pleasant as possible in this fascinating region, rich in art and culinary specialties.
