Gualtiero Marchesi is a chef and a true master of his art, capable of showing the way, leading with courage and training new culinary talents. He is the ideal of a host of imitators who are fascinated by his creativity and eager to learn his techniques.
The Gualtiero Marchesi restaurant at L’Albereta proposes his most successful creations, including risotto garnished with gold leaf and dishes inspired by great painters, from the drippings of Pollock to the textures of Burri.
He is always ready to amaze. His dining room is set in the evening with black table linens that recall the lost elegance of ritual. And the brand-new Less Kitchen menu is a compendium of perfection in which the true flavors of the ingredients emerge triumphant. And then there is Invitation to M’Art, two tables created from the trunk of a fossil tree, a showcase for a film on the life of an artist entirely devoted to cooking.
To prepare body and spirit for a meal of this kind, you need to plan for at least an hour of massage in l’Espace Vitalité Henri Chenot. The sense of it all is explained in The Marchesi Code:

The proposal L’Albereta Gourmet includes:
• 1 night in deluxe double room,

• dinner with tasting menu at the Gualtiero Marchesi Restaurant (selection of wines included)
• 1 hour relaxing massage per person
• fitness card for access to the Aqua-Fitness area in the Espace Vitalité Henri Chenot (swimming pool with 4 different types of hydromassage and treadmill pool, sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp bath, gym equipped by Technogym, personal trainer, water cyclette)
• Autographed complimentary copy of the book “Sapere di Sapori”

The proposal is available from Tuesday through Thursday nights, from the 10th February to the 23rd December 2010 upon availability, with the exception of Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas, New Year’s and other holidays.
