Ihr Kommentar: The staff here are incredibly sweet, helpful and kind. We loved the cozy large bar/lounge area with a fireplace. A special event for us was the cooking class. The chef took us to the organic gardens, explained each item, we picked fresh things then used some to add in and make our own pasta. The lunch meal was fabulous afterward. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, spread out along a large property, and the views over the vineyard are spectacular.

Ihr Kommentar: We had a wonderful time at this hotel which is very unique. We loved the service and different dining areas. Cocktails were great. Room was lovely. Food excellent.
The only thing we missed for such a pricey hotel was a warmed up pool. I couldn’t swim once because it was so cold! For the price paid, I think they could try and organize a heated swimming pool.
Otherwise all good!

Ihr Kommentar: Das Hotel liegt fantastisch, die Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet, nur das Restaurant hat seine Mängel. Zuerst mal hatten wir innerhalb 3 Abendessen immer das selbe Menü- keine Abwechslung bei den Gerichten. Das Menü war für seine Leistung zu teuer und aus diesem Grunde war das Restaurant auch eher schlecht besucht.
Das sollte dringend geändert werden, denn vergleichbare Hotels haben eine bessere Küche.
Genauso das Frühstück: In wunderbarer Lage liegt der Frühstücksraum, aber die Auswahl für solch ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist dürftig! Kalter Schweinebraten mit ein wenig Schinken ist einfach zuwenig. Kräuterquark oder Fisch haben wir sehr vermisst, genauso Vollkornbrot oder mindestens dunkles Brot!
Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden, werden dieses Hotel aber unseren Freunden nicht weiterempfehlen. Lothar und Anne Kuhn Esslingen

Ihr Kommentar: Monaci is a magical property, set in the foothills of Mt Etna and looking towards the sea. The views are extraordinary, the ambiance is restful and tranquil, with lower temperatures than at sea level and cooling breezes. It is a perfect spot to decompress and unplug from the workaday world.
Our hosts Guido and Federica are charming and their vision is reflected in every aspect of the estate from the rooms to the dining areas, the pool area, the vineyards and orchards, the food and drink, and on site activities.
The staff is universally friendly and helpful, with great team spirit. Be prepared for the occasional lapse in efficiency - this not a type A to the max establishment.
We loved our stay and will certainly return.

Mais les chambres bien que spacieuses ont peu de charme contrairement au bâtiment accueil /restaurant qui est ancien et très agréable .
La piscine privée près de la chambre et les oiseaux ont estompé notre déception première.

The food and drink were absolutely delicious and our room was fantastic from the indoor fire, to the speakers, to the stand alone bath, to the wine. It was perfect. There were also two members of staff that completely transformed our experience: Alessandro making us the most delicious cocktails at the bar while we played back gammon and played great music. While Pietro was the master of the dining room: he gave us brilliant tips, particularly the fennel ragu and one of the Sicilian red wines. I loved hearing his stories about London and how he wanted to come back to the island. Both were really special and our experience would not have been the same without them! X a

Ihr Kommentar: Thanks for an excellent stay. All the staff were lovely to us and we felt exceptionally welcomed and welcome.
There is just one aspect of our stay we would have liked to have been better: the breakfast was rather limited. What food was there was terrific but there wasn't a wide selection.
Beyond that, we will definitely being coming to stay again. Thanks!

Ihr Kommentar: Beautiful landscape and silence. Our house was a nicely furnitured barn with all luxury needed and it was perfectly cleaned. Breakfast was great.
Our suggestion:
- no artificial flavours in the house; the smells of the country itself are better.
Dinner was OK, but a bit over priced. Nice wines.

Ihr Kommentar: Hello - the place was beautiful and we loved staying there.
There were a few things we wanted to mention though:
1. The pool was freezing cold and unpleasant to stay in for too long
2. The food was good but we felt it could have been better
3. The breakfast was beautiful but the bee's made it hard to sit for too long (although I'm not sure you can easily change that).
4. We stayed in 1600 Fiore and it was lovely but it could have used a large rug on the floor where the bed is
5. Sonos did not work

De même pour le restaurant, qui gagnerait à améliorer la qualité du service et la qualité des plats.

Ihr Kommentar: The property is stunning, covered in olive trees and arancia trees. The King suite was also gorgeous, and a lovely walk from the main building. Breakfast is a delicious spread of fruits, cheeses pastries and fresh-pressed juice. We were very grateful to meet the owner and were able to pay him compliments.

Ihr Kommentar: We were so grateful to the hotel, they could not have taken more trouble to make our stay more enjoyable. The sign saying ". Be Kind" beside the entrance, was certainly the way the hotel worked. It is always when there is a problem that you really discover how a hotel really tries, and we were so touched by the trouble the hotel took. The little cottage we had was gorgeous, with a view of Mount Etna. The staff, warm friendly, ever ready to advise and tell you were to go when you ventured out of the paradise hidden away in the vineyards. The Restaurent Produced excellent food, home grown wine, all very good, although not very cheap. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Above all there is a fabulous feeling of peace,

In fact this is the first time I am leaving a comment on any hotel in my life and I am a frequent traveler. Everything was perfect, the room, the premises, the food - all part of a thoroughly thought through experience.

Ihr Kommentar: A lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms but not really suitable for the 2 elderly people in our group - the paths were very uneven so they couldn't really walk around unaccompanied.
One of our party didn't sleep very well due to dogs barking and as a result of the sprinklers outside going off .

Ihr Kommentar: Monaci delle Terre Nere è un agriturismo. Di lusso ma sempre un agriturismo e non un Hotel 5 stelle. Tra l'altro la stele con la specifica che si tratta di un agriturismo che si è agevolato dei finanziamenti europei è messa nell'angolo meno evidente. Chissà come mai........!
Quando fate una degustazione di Vini i vini sono offerti e non pagati, altrimenti si tratta di una vendita.

L'équipe est très aimable mais il y a plusieurs point négatifs : restaurant trop cher pour une cuisine si simple, l'entrée du restaurant à coté des cuisines, un motoculteur qui traine sur le jardin devant la bâtisse (non, il ne s'agissait pas d'art contemporain), distributeur de savon shampoing/savon hors d'usage...

Ihr Kommentar: Endroit très plaisant, calme et sérénité.Personnel très avenant ainsi que les propriétaires. Nourriture de bonne qualité, seul petit bémol le repas du soir est un peu cher, au vu d'une cuisine bonne mais pas un niveau correspondant au prix.Un plus: apéritif offert, moment très sympathique avec là encore de bon produit( vin, fromage, olives....)
