Antico Feudo San Giorgio: Authentic Country Relais in the Madonie Mountains
Antico Feudo San Giorgio is a charming historic estate located in Polizzi Generosa, set within the pristine landscape of the Madonie Regional Park in central Sicily. Born from the careful restoration of an ancient feudal farmstead, this property perfectly captures the spirit of authentic Sicilian rural hospitality. It offers a peaceful country retreat designed for travelers looking to reconnect with nature, enjoy organic gastronomy, and experience timeless tranquility.
Rustic Rooms Featuring Traditional Wood and Stone Details
Accommodations at Antico Feudo San Giorgio occupy the former quarters of the historic estate, preserved with deep respect for local heritage. Characterized by wooden beam ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, and classic Sicilian country furnishings, the rooms provide a warm, intimate atmosphere alongside sweeping views of rolling hills and pastures.
Outdoor Swimming Pool Surrounded by Mountain Scenery
The estate's lovely outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace serve as a refreshing oasis during sunny days. Framed by the majestic backdrop of the Madonie mountains, it offers an ideal space for lounging, reading, or enjoying a cool evening drink while taking in the golden colors of the Sicilian countryside at sunset.
Organic Farm-to-Table Dining and Local Culinary Heritage
The on-site restaurant highlights authentic local flavors using organic ingredients grown directly on the farm. Guests indulge in handmade pasta dishes, prime local meats, artisan cheeses from the Madonie region, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, and traditional Sicilian desserts paired with regional wines.
Prime Base for Hiking Trails and Medieval Hilltop Villages
Situated in Polizzi Generosa, the resort is a gateway for outdoor enthusiasts wanting to explore the hiking trails of the Madonie Park. Picturesque medieval villages such as Petralia Sottana, Petralia Soprana, and Castelbuono are easily accessible, as is the famed coastal town of Cefalù.
