The Borgo Dei Conti Resort, a member of Relais & Châteaux, is a beautifully restored medieval fortress situated in the lush Umbrian hills, near Perugia and Lake Trasimeno. This historic residence blends Gothic Revival architecture and local heritage with modern, discreet luxury, offering a refuge of elegance and tranquility in a timeless setting.

Its 40 rooms and suites are spread between the historic Villa and La Colonica building. Each accommodation celebrates local craftsmanship – from Etruscan terracotta to fine fabrics – with contemporary amenities. The most exclusive Suites, such as the Count s Suite and the Countess Suite, boast original details like frescoes, period fireplaces, and beamed ceilings, offering a modular and highly prestigious living experience.
Umbrian Gastronomic Excellence
The gastronomic experience is curated by the Executive Chef, with two distinct offerings. The fine dining restaurant Cedri, located in the ancient Limonaia, celebrates Umbria with innovative dishes based on local, seasonal, and KM0 ingredients from the Resort s garden. For a more informal setting, the Osteria del Borgo offers lunch and dinner by the pool or under the pergola in summer, with fresh Mediterranean specialties.

Wellness is guaranteed by a large and modular SPA, extending between indoors and outdoors. His Opinion: It was a totally enchanting and fairytale like experience. Izabela felt like a princess for 2 days. Service ,the level of comfort and meals are of the first rate 5 star plus category.
