the QUEEN ROOMS are in abuilding in the rear part of Palazzo Viviani gardens and exactly in the Painter's House. They are not in Palazzo Viviani.
As the Smart Tv is concerned, the rooms do not have any tv subscription at the moment.

His Opinion: Äußerst stylisch bis romantische Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Viele sehr hübsche, spannende Dörfer und Ortschaften in der Nähe, Motorisierung höchst sinnvoll.
Neben dem schönen Ambiente, leckeres Frühstück und über alle Kontakte sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal- trotz Sprachbarrieren!
Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet, technisch sicher nicht auf dem allerneuesten Stand, täte dem Flair vielleicht auch ein wenig Abbruch.
Insgesamt ist es hier so schön, dass wir (versuchen) jedes Jahr wieder hierhin zu kommen.

Tutte le nostre aspettative sono state soddisfatte, dai comfort alla cortesia e disponibilità del personale fino alla location, un borgo medievale meraviglioso. My only suggestion is that you have a coloured light at the top of the drive to the apartments as it is very easy to get lost when you first arrive and the maps don't really work in the dark.

His Opinion: We had a good time at Castello di Montegridolfo, staying in the wonderful Frescoes room, which had two comfortable large beds, as well as the painted walls, and views front and back. Adequate bathroom, although it could have done with some attention. Good breakfast buffet, although it is a long way down every morning. The only gripe was that there was nothing open in the village when we were there, except the hotel and one restaurant (which was very good and in a lovely setting). No Pizzeria or even a shop to buy a drink or ice cream. I don't know if it was too early in the season (end of June/beginning of July). However, we were well looked after and it is the most wonderful setting. Just don't go if you can't manage stairs.

His Opinion: Première nuit dans une chambre attenante à la piscine non insonorisée avec climatisation vétuste... Le reste du séjour dans une des annexes modernes à 5 minutes du chateau mais très confortable.
Aucun service d'hotellerie pour un hotel 4 etoiles (conseils et restauration absents, très aléatoires voire médiocres...). Très bon rapport qualité prix pour y séjourner sans s'y restaurer. Une très bonne adresse pour dîner est l'agristurismo situé à moins d'un kilomètre du chateau, en allant dans la direction opposé de mondaino, se renseigner auprès de l'accueil, reservation avant. Ne pas aller aux restaurants hosteria dell academia et moulino Bianco aussi conseillés par l'hotel...

His Opinion: UN "ADDIO" ED UN ARRIVEDERCI AL CASTELLO DI MONTEGRIDOLFO
Abbiamo soggiornato nel borgo del Castello per un week-end, che è stato un pò particolare, perchè è stato organizzato per festeggiare un addio al nubilato all'insegna del relax e per vivere nel frattempo un bellissimo ricordo. Be' dobbiamo dire che è stato proprio così...incantevole...Il borgo è molto suggestivo e curato e ristrutturato nei minimi particolari. Le stanze sono tutte arredate con mobili d'epoca, affreschi e stucchi che sono tornati a "vivere" grazie ad accurati restauri. La vista da lassù è mozzafiato e quando scende la sera i paesini intorno si illuminano e rendono l'atmosfera al castello veramente magica. Regnano pace e silenzio e se ti sdrai ai bordi della piscina e chiudi gli occhi puoi gustarti tutto questo. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nel "Borgo degli Ulivi". Sono camere create nelle casette del borgo dallo stile moderno-classico, molto spaziose, con un ambiente confortevole, pulite e curate. Appena siamo arrivate ci hanno preparato un'aperitivo con qualche stuzzichino, come suggerito da noi, per fare una piacevole sorpresa alla ns amica festeggiata. Musica in sottofondo sulle note del pianoforte che rievoca storie lontane. Il tempo sembra essersi fermato.
La colazione è degna di un castello, sia per la location (è un ala del borgo in una stanza immensa) sia per il buffet. C'era solo l'imbarazzo della scelta: succhi di ogni tipi, yogurt, marmellate, briches, bomboloni, ciambelle, frutta, ecc...La cosa che ci ha stupito è che c'era un tavolo con ogni ben di dio "dedicato" alle persone affette da celiachia. Questo dimostra che ci tengono molto alle persone che soggiornano qui. Per la cena potevi scegliere tra quattro ristoranti, noi abbiamo optato per "Osteria dell'Accademia", visto che ci era stato vivamente consigliato dal nostro tassita. L' Osteria è per chi vuole gustare i piatti locali. Da consigliare!!!. Se vogliamo però trovare un cavillo è che il personale è un pò impreparato. Noi volevamo usufruire del centro benessere ma quando siamo arrivate abbiamo appreso che la vasca idromassaggio era fuori uso e quindi si poteva solo fare la sauna o usare la palestra. Ci potevamo almeno avvisare per correttezza tramite mail prima di partire. I prezzi dei massaggi sono altissimi, dovrebbero rivederli un attimo...
Per concludere possiamo dire che è stato tutto perfetto e siamo rimaste tutte quante molto soddisfatte da questo piacevole week end.

His Opinion: La struttura è molto bella anche se incomincia a risentire in qualche punto la necessaria manutenzione.
Quando siamo andati alla centro benessere lo abbaiamo trovato praticamente fuori servizio: la sauna e l'acqua dell'idromassaggio non erano alla temperatura di esercizio.

His Opinion: We stayed in the cheaper rooms near the conference facility and were comfortable in our room. The A/C could have worked a bit better (didn't cool very well)but I am sure management would have assisted if asked. The pool area needs a lot more upkeep (grooming of grounds/trees/bushes, better maintenance of chairs/tables, mosquitoes "management" etc.) I also would like to suggest to extend pool bar services hours since many people might like to enjoy a drink at the pool while it is getting darker. Also, everything inside and around the castello is so special that the breakfast inside area should be upgraded a bit - outside seating was beautiful and we were happy not to have to sit inside where it feels a bit too much like a cafeteria. Overall, we had a nice stay and hope to come back one day to stay at one of the "special" castello rooms but for those room rates we would expect nicer pool and breakfast area.
