“Château D’Esclimont” is an imposing, stately manor built in the mid 16th century, in the gentle fold of the ‘Domaine D’Esclimont’ Valley, by then Archbishop of Tours, Etienne de Poncher.
This architectural jewel of the Renaissance period is supremely and serenely positioned in the midst of a 60 hectare park, quietly situated between Versailles and Chartres, in the south west countryside of Paris.
Manicured lawns, lush landscaped gardens and pristine woodlands surround the castle as far as the eye can see. Once the former palatial residence of the distinguished French family Rochefoucauld, today its fortunate guests have the extraordinary pleasure of sojourning in a veritable, classic French Château.
Venturesome guests can discover the glorious countryside on numerous special excursions organized by this truly exceptional hotel, from horse riding to helicopter or balloon-ride tours.

His Opinion: bonne restauration , mais les vins sont trop chers .....;surtout quand on en connait certains que l'on a dans sa cave personnelle ...et que l'on connait le prix d'achat . c'est dommage de vouloir trop gagner sur les vins !!!!!
