Another window into the landscape of Alois Kavolda opens itself to you in this standard room with an deluxe touch - with meadows full of red poppies and thin stretches of fields in the distance. Looking out of your window across the castle courtyard, you can fully perceive the peacefulness of Vysocina nature. This room, that is entered through robust hobnailed oak doors, will charm you with its original arches, so typical for the castle.
Enter and relax in this wonderful apartment situated in the calm wing of the castle. Whether under the tree canopies, huddled in your comfortable blankets or just seated in soft armchairs you will be absorbed in the pleasant atmosphere. Indulge yourself with the shadow and golden rays of the sun reflected in the leaves as depicted by the famous Czech painter Alois Kalvoda. In the third largest apartment of our castle, you find yourself in the company of a symbolic white stallion painted by Jan Preisler. It is up to you, which part of the mysterious painting you will let yourself be drawn into. Enjoy the feeling of summer relaxation and sit in the meadows, where both man and animals rest. Or feel inspired by the dream-like dancing figures or the racing horses. All is in your hands. This suite offers you everything: spaciousness and intimacy, comfort, quiet and luxury. Furthermore, because of the suite's generous disposition, it is ideal for families with children.
The unique space of the presidential suite of the Lords of Solms has so many fascinating details that you will be captivated from the very first moment you open the chamber doors. Beneath the ceiling, a warm round lamp seems to levitate above you, casting discrete warm light on a specially mounted stucco fresco depicting angels. This apartment also has a ceiling with unparalleled stucco details made from lime wood, a beautiful bedroom in the orangery and a marvellous and unique bathroom situated in the south tower of the castle. The discovery of a medieval bath in the suite floor fill inspired its current design and use. This bathroom was planned centuries ago, yet today you can enjoy it in all its modern grandeur combined with the charm of times gone by.
The largest suite in the castle Chateau Heralec is named after one of most powerful Czech houses - the Trčka of Lípa. They were so wealthy and rich that they even lent money to Czech kings and were also the regional governors of this beautiful area.
Enter the chamber and let yourself be inspired by the original wooden ceiling, the beautiful mosaic floor, touch a special carved wooden mirror that is the jewel of this suite. Rest in your beds under the baldachin covers, surrounded by soft cushions. A huge historical tile stove guards the entire room like a knight in green armour. And on top of all that, a real castle secret - a moresque, wood-decorated parlour for moments of dreaming and pleasant conversation, is a part of the suite, majestically located in an adjoining tower directly in this majestic apartment.

His Opinion: We had a lovely stay, and we felt very pampered throughout our stay. Dinner was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our only regret is that we did not have time to stay longer!
