Domus Laeta is a prestigious historic residence dating back to the 17th century, nestled in the heart of the small village of Giungano, in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park (UNESCO Heritage). The residence, still owned by the Aulisio family, faces south and enjoys a fascinating Panorama over the Valley of the Temples of Paestum and the Gulf of Salerno. The structure retains its complex original architecture intact, with sighting towers, loopholes, ancient stables, and an oil mill.
The Rooms: Historical Charm and Modern Comfort
The residence offers about 10 unique Rooms and Suites (double and quadruple, including apartments), furnished with refined antique furniture and objects that narrate the family's long history. All accommodations feature a private bathroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and TV, overlooking the romantic internal courtyard, the historic center, or the splendid valley and the sea.
Historic Relaxation and Culture
Guests can relax in the magnificent Outdoor Pool with hydromassage, converted from an ancient water collection basin in the panoramic garden. The property boasts ample outdoor spaces such as a Frescoed Loggia, the belvedere terrace, and an orchard garden. The interiors offer stately rooms and a valuable Library with approximately 2,000 ancient volumes. Upon request, gala dinners and traditional Cooking Classes are organized.
