Amid Marsala’s historic streets, steps from baroque squares and artisan shops, Hotel Carmine welcomes guests in a period building of understated charm: inner courtyards, arches and stone vaults echo the city’s wine‑and‑sea heritage.
Bright, natural‑toned interiors with terracotta floors, timber ceilings and crafted details; contemporary comforts—air‑conditioning, Wi‑Fi, smart TV, minibar and safe—and clean‑lined bathrooms. Selected rooms open to balconies or overlook the cloister.
Homemade cakes and breads, citrus honeys and jams, local ricotta and cheeses, seasonal fruit and a savory spread. The inner courtyard and period lounges invite unhurried reading and an evening glass of wine.
Stroll to the Cassaro, the Mother Church and city museums; taste in Marsala’s heritage wineries. At sunset the Stagnone lagoon turns rose around windmills and salt pans—Mozia and the islands await by boat, with renowned kitesurfing spots.
Easy day trips to Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo for turquoise coves; the Salt Road to Trapani and Paceco; the Doric temple of Segesta and the hilltown of Erice, plus Mazara del Vallo. Returning to the palazzo restores the elegant calm of the old town.

His Opinion: Hotel Carmine is such a charming hotel. I rarely write a review, but the hotel is such a special place, right in the historic district. The room was very comfortable, the hotel is spotless and the common rooms very refined. The bar, although it was 2 PM and no one was there, had such a handsome atmosphere. It could have fit into a 1930’s movie set. We should have stayed longer because it is so warm and relaxing. To all those who go enjoy your stay and your time at Hotel Carmine.

His Opinion: seul tout petit problème : il n'y a pas de parking asssocié ce qui oblige à laisser la voiture sans proptection assez loin de l'hôtel.
The only problem we can mention: no car park available! Obligation to park in a street a bit far from the hotel.
