Double Rooms of the historic Kinsterna Hotel are fully equipped with all necessary facilities in order your accommodation to be comfortable and elegant.
A blend of the Aegean Blue, the Rock of Monemvasia and Mountain is the most usual view of the Double Rooms.
The bathroom made from local marble, the traditional wooden windows and the special dantelle technique faced on walls and lights are only some of the characteristics you will be thrilled with.
There are queen size mattresses and pillow menu from Cocomat.
These suites will astound you with their beauty as you enter into a world of timeless architectural sophistication. While some Junior suites offer a breathtaking view of the blue Mediterranean and summer scents emanating from the herb gardens off their semi-private terraces, others have fireplaces reminiscent of the mansion’s long history, offering the perfect treat for colder winter nights.
In the olden days, one of these suites featured a fresh-water spring that formed stalactites as it flowed. Remains of this spring and its control mechanism can still be seen today on the stone wall. Another Junior Suites also features an authentic Ottoman fireplace that's perfect for creating a cozy ambiance on colder winter nights or early spring evenings.
While such ancient in-room curiosities will fascinate you, you will nonetheless be greeted by understated luxury – and a fine bottle of wine – when you enter, complete with today's modern comforts such as the flat screen TV, digital movie library and wireless internet. The warm, relaxing earth tones offer a soothing contrast to the vivid outside world of bright colors and botanical fragrances such as marjoram, basil and rosemary.
Throw yourself on the plush queen-size or king-size bed and revel in your gorgeous suite. Discrete touches of tradition such as fine chandeliers, stone-built walls, hardwood floors and knitted curtains mix perfectly with high-tech amenities and ultra-luxurious marble bathrooms in a suite that's no less than 35 meters square. You'll be surprised to know that once upon a time the living room in one of these suites was a kitchen with a hidden trapdoor used to load foodstuffs from the old cellar and olive press which can still be seen today.
Today the Deluxe Suites are the epitome of luxury for couples, yet can fit three or four people. You'll have a hard time deciding between the upper-floor Deluxe Suite with breathtaking views of the blue sea and famous castle rock or the lower-floor Deluxe Suite that opens on to a magical garden with the rich, intoxicating scent of evening primrose.
Byzantium would be proud to have these suites named after it, as the vaulted domes, stone archways and generous spaces have made many visitors to this mansion envious. Choose the room with an outdoor terrace if you like to sit outside and read a good book from the mansion’s library or enjoy a warm cup of morning coffee as you take in the nature around you. Opt for the sea-view rooms with the castle rock of Monemvasia in full view if you want breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes.
Either way, these rooms will impress you, not only with their amenities but also with their true Byzantine design and detail. In fact, one of the rooms was once a holding cell, which has miraculously been transformed into a place that today people would beg to stay in rather than escape out of.
Interestingly, some of these suites have made clever use of the long, vaulted chambers with a smart partition between the dressing-bathing areas and the main room, bringing together the best of past and present. Aged mirrors, classical doorways, comfy armchairs, indirect lighting and little wall niches create an ambiance that inspires wellbeing and a true sense of exotic wonder.
You're going to highly appreciate your stay in the Kinsterna Suites, considered the best on the property with their private balconies and stunning views of the sea and vineyards. One of these suites is particularly interesting with its intricately designed traditional fireplace and little balcony where in ancient times the inhabitants crushed grapes to make wine.
The best advantages of these suites of course are the generous king-size beds, outstanding marble bathrooms and dreamy views of the sea and mountain with the castle rock of Monemvasia in the background.
If you're looking for a romantic escape with a private balcony, hearty Greek breakfasts, in-room dinners or a lavish living space with its own fireplace, these suites will not leave you disappointed.
If you've fantasized about owning a house with a view of the Aegean Sea, now's your chance to live your dream, if only for a few days or weeks. Your favorite Mediterranean dishes can be prepared and served on your own veranda while you help yourself to the fruits, vegetables and herbs of the garden.
In the evening take a soothing shower, slip into a fluffy bathrobe, make yourself a cup of espresso and put some music on the home theatre system. The trappings of hi-tech luxury, from 3D flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi to multimedia data ports and direct phone lines will impress both you and your guests. Comforts such as pillow menu and regal bedding, complete with king-size beds and walk-in closets in some rooms, add the essential ingredients for transforming your new home into deluxe holiday experience, right on the edge of Greece's breathtaking Southern Peloponnese.
Can you imagine opening the front door of your house to be greeted by the Garden of Eden? Nothing beats having your own partial sea-view garden with its very own vegetable patches. You won't want to leave our Garden Residence once you check in. Then again, once you take a bubble bath and slip into your finest evening wear, you might be tempted to walk over to the main building for drinks and dinner, or take a stroll in the castle town nearby.
The Garden Residence has everything to keep you happy, from a fireplace and sofa bed to a coffee/tea station, walk-in closet and trendy décor. Worth mentioning as well is the lavish marble bathroom with rare hand-picked tiles, large bathtub and walk-in rain shower. A word of caution, visitors staying in this room have often begun thinking of moving to this place permanently.
Once you find yourself in this Mediterranean two-bedroom apartment with private veranda set amid the Kinsterna gardens, you will more than likely understand why Greece is referred to as the land of the gods.
Put on your favorite music or watch your favorite satellite TV channel while you prepare your outdoor breakfast, then take a leisurely walk around the grounds to admire this little piece of paradise. During a rare chilly evening, light a warm fire and cozy up to the fireplace.
Fit for royalty with its plush bedding, walk-in closets and high-tech paraphernalia, this one-of-a-kind apartment with two bathrooms boasts a king-size bed and a queen-size bed, just great for romantic couples who want to live it up, a large family or even a group of six friends.
