The Relais Palazzo Paleologi Sec.XIV is an exclusive historic residence located in Lu e Cuccaro Monferrato, in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont. This magnificent palace, built in the 1400s and once the residence of the Marquises of Monferrato, has been skillfully restored in collaboration with the Superintendence of Fine Arts of Turin, preserving an unparalleled historical charm and Beaux-Arts style architecture.

All accommodations are furnished with refined Piedmontese antique furniture, while ensuring modern comforts such as air conditioning, double-layer mattresses, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. The setting, a former monastery with a wine cellar, exudes history and art.

His Opinion: Accueil très sympathique, lieu historique, petit déjeuner parfait, orientation touristique du propriétaire très appréciée (point de vue, banc géant...), séjour parfait, avons regretté de n'avoir pu manger sur place.

His Opinion: This is an interesting and delightful place to stay, with the most helpful and concerned service. Very little English is spoken, but that is not of concern. The apartments are spotlessly clean and the renovations are modern. We stayed in a top floor one with wonderful views over the town, and the rolling hills of the surrounding countryside.Breakfast is the only concern..excellent coffee but no fresh brioche or bread rolls. The town, while small, has at least 5 ristoranti/trattorie and there is much to see in the surrounding countryside. A car is a must, but you should be charmed by the service and the surroundings.
