we have two Master Suites with outdoor private pool, a Pylaia Suite with indoor pool plunge and the Pylaia House with private pool. Our Hotel is about 5min on foot far from the town

What's the name of the nearest beach? How does one get there? What, if any, activities are on offer, there, e.g. kayak, paddle board? Thanks!

Good evening from beautiful Astypalaia and thank you for contacting Pylaia Boutique Hotel & Spa for your upcoming vacations in Astypalaia. Regarding your request, the nearest beach from our Hotel is called Livadi, 400m on foot. After Livadi beach there is Tzanaki beach, the most beautiful, (in my opinion). As being the nudist beach of the island, Tzanaki beach is 1,1 km form our Hotel. In the other side of the island, down town, Pera Gialos beach is 600m far from our Hotel. There are also a lot of beaches to discover, but for sure you may need a car or a moto. As for activities, we are not sure if there is kayak or paddle board, but the are small boats you may rent and go for a ride around the island and the small islands nearby. For more information about the activities, you may ask the local travel agencies.
