Villa Giulia is an elegant Napoleonic residence immersed in the green of a park with lush Mediterranean vegetation. The property overlooks the Adriatic Sea on one side and the town and port of Fano on the other, with the rolling Marche hills in the background: a unique and suggestive place, ideal for a romantic honeymoon.
The Villa has period furniture from various eras, antiquarian books and everyday objects which have belonged to the family for centuries.
The sensation is that of reliving a page in Italian and French history: both in the villa and park are to be found traces from its preceding proprietors, such as Prince Eugène de Beauharnais, doted step-son of Napoleon, or Baroness Giulia de Rolland, an ancestor of the owners.
The roof-garden holds the greenhouse for lemon trees, an oval pond containing aquatic plants and a large terrace where the day can be concluded with an aperitif looking out over the sea.
The garden merges with the olive grove of the family’s farming business and also gives access to the Villa’s panoramic swimming pool, the tennis courts and golf club.
Free time can be dedicated to pleasant excursions by horse. All rooms have the most modern amenities.
