“Riad Chi-Chi” is a chic boutique hotel offering modern comfort, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and the best of Moorish architecture. Ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of the Medina, close to the Museum of Marrakech and the Medersa Ben Youssef, only minutes from the entrance to the Souks and a short stroll to the main square Jemaa el Fna, the cool and elegant lines of the interior decoration provide a welcome retreat after the hustle and bustle of the medina.
The riad has been lovingly restored to a very high standard by the best Moroccan craftsmen using traditional methods and ensuring coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter months.
The salon, opening out onto the courtyard with its fountain and refreshing plunge pool, has a cosy sitting area with fireplace that is lit during the winter months. The courtyard and the bhou (loggia) on the first floor also offer ideal places to relax and unwind. On the roof terrace, there is a romantic tented pergola with comfortable seating and sun loungers for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful views of the Medina and the Atlas mountains – a great place to soak up the unique atmosphere of Marrakech – and the scents of the bougainvillea, oleander, jasmine, lavender and rosemary plants…
The four bedrooms and the suite – all in fresh soothing white with odd splashes of colour - are light and airy with extremely comfortable beds (queen-sized bed 1.6 m wide or 2 twin beds) and crisp, white bed-linen ensuring a good night’s sleep.
The charming and attentive staff will ensure that you are truly well looked after and will be happy to arrange trips, recommend and book restaurants as well as massage and beauty treatments in the riad for you.
