Schloss Hotel Korb is an exclusive 4-Star Superior hotel located in the heart of the Wine Route, in Missiano, a fraction of Appiano (Eppan). It is situated within the evocative walls of a historic castle, carefully and lovingly restored by the Dellago Family, who preserve its rustic charm and refined elegance. Nestled among the vineyards, the hotel offers a breathtaking view spanning the Adige Valley up to the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, creating an atmosphere of peace, luxury, and individuality.
Rooms and Suites: History and Comfort
The 49 Rooms and Suites are divided between the ancient Castle structure and the modern Residence, ensuring a variety of unique styles. From the Economy Rooms (approx. 20 m²) to the spacious Panorama Suites and Castle Suites, every accommodation combines ancient splendour (such as wood or marble floors and classic furniture) with modern comforts: LCD TV, minibar, safe, and "Vin Pur" cosmetic products, made with their own vineyard produce. Not all rooms in the castle are accessible by elevator, adding to the historic charm of the structure.

As a founding member of the Vinum Hotels Südtirol, wine is the soul of Schloss Hotel Korb. The owner, Fritz Dellago, is a passionate vintner. The hotel boasts an extraordinary Wine Cellar and a Bunker dating back to the war period, where over 35,000 bottles are kept and where guided wine tastings (often complimentary) with their own production wines are regularly held. The Restaurant serves refined Regional and Mediterranean Cuisine, with a 5-course evening menu for those who choose half-board, using fresh, local ingredients. Breakfast is a lavish gourmet buffet served on the panoramic terrace.
Wellness and Relaxation: The World of Water
The Wellness offering is top-tier and stands out for its pools. Guests can relax in the spectacular Outdoor Infinity Biopool (awarded for its integration into the landscape) with views of Bolzano and the Sciliar (Schlern), and a spacious Traditional Outdoor Pool with a whirlpool. An Indoor Pool (8x4m, heated to 30°C) and a full Spa area with Finnish Sauna, Turkish Bath, Infrared Cabin, and a panoramic Technogym-equipped gym are also available. The wellness area can be used free of charge both before Check-in and after Check-out.

His Opinion: The staff --particularly the reception staff and morning restaurant staff-- were extremely friendly and helpful. We last stayed at the Schloss Korb 12 years ago. We found it just as beautiful and just as much fun.

His Opinion: le camere nella residenza sono alquanto scadenti...in particolar modo il bagno che stona con il resto del complesso: la doccia non aveva nemmeno la tenda per cui il pavimento si bagnava con molta facilità, le luci sopra lo specchio erano fulminate e il phon non funzionava!
