His Opinion: The Villa Avellino is a great place to stay. We had a junior suite with a small kitchen and mezzanine floor with views over the bay. The room was clean and comfortable, and once the air conditioning was turned down, warm. It has a small restaurant with a limited menu but the food and wine were very good.
Our only disappointment was the choice at breakfast which was essentially coffee, bread, yogurt and cake.
There are plenty of restaurants in Pozzuoli down by the harbour. I would recommend Angeli and Demoni just a short walk from the hotel. Excellent food and service.
