His Opinion: Our stay at Zash was very enjoyable. We were warmly welcomed and the premises of the hotel are amazing. Pool and breakfast were highlights of our stay. Also the massage booked was of high quality.

Main point for improvement would be the room itself. Maintenance was lacking and was not on par with the quality of the rest of the hotel. Think of damaged furniture and lamps, TV not working (not that we needed it) and a shower that went in all directions due to chalk buildup.

His Opinion: The room has great view of both Etna and the sea, the trains passing by was not a very big issue since it's a bit far from the track. The room design is a bit awkward, I bumped into the glass wall and bruised my eye, and there's no door separating the toilette and the bathing area.

Breakfast didn't change during our stay of three days, and options are limited comparing to other hotels. The restaurant in the hotel is great.

His Opinion: Tutto molto bello, a parte room service. una sera, nonostante abbia chiamato 4 volte nel corso di un ora per fare un ordine, nessuno mi ha contattato dalla cucina per emetterlo e sono rimasto senza cena. nessuno si e' degnato nemmeno di farmi una chiamata. lo reputo un comportamento maleducato, al di la del servizio pessimo. saluti

His Opinion: Nous avons un feedback mitigé car l’hôtel est très beau et de haut standing, mais le haut standing n’est qu’en apparence car après les détails sont oubliés. accroche serviettes cassé dans la chambre (jamais réparé en 3 jours), la télé cassée également (elle tombait sur le mur) de plus pas possibilité de la regarder pendant les 2 nuits (sky ne fonctionnait apparement pas), il y avait beaucoup de moisissures sur les joints de la douche etc… et le bruit de train est quand même très surprenant… tout cela fait que payer 600€ pour 2 nuits n’est pas un bon rapport qualité/prix pour nous.
Cependant restaurant Michelin très bon et personnel du restaurant très agréable, même avis sur le spa (top du top, et très bon massage), alors que les personnes à l’accueil de l’hôtel ne sont pas très accueillantes malheureusement et peu souriantes (sauf les deux monsieur: celui qui s’est occupé de nos bagages et le monsieur qui est a l’accueil la nuit, eux deux très gentils).

His Opinion: The property and its surrounding lush gardens are absolutely stunning!

We enjoyed the food (breakfast, dinner at the Michelin restaurant, as well as the poolside bar food) and drinks selection immensely, with particular compliments to bartender Alberto Paternò for his incredible cocktail creations.

When we arrived, we inquired whether it was possible to move to a room with its own small garden instead of our original room with small balconies, and were extremely pleased to hear that the hotel was able to arrange this for us the following day.

All in all, we had a wonderful stay and hope to be able to visit Zash soon again when we doubtlessly return to Sicily in the near future!

His Opinion: Séjour très agréable avec un super petit déjeuner et la possibilité de dîner dans un bon restaurant. Dommage que nous ayons pas pu profiter de la piscine, elle était en rénovation. L emplacement est parfait entre catane et taormine. Le passage des trains est audible sans trop de gêne. Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits.

Not so good was , that the area was not "ready for the saison" .
The pool was still dirty from the winter .
I missed a space in the whole area to sit an relax or to work (especially on a cloudy day) .

The were more than happy to help and were very responsive regarding all of our requests. Zash is definitely a place i would love to come back to, for sure !

His Opinion: It was wonderfull vocation. We spend 1 week in a luxury appartment with amizing view to the orange garden and privat pool. The staff was very very friendly. Michelin star restaurant was incredible. Thank you very much for chef and all restaurant team for incredible dinner. The breakfast was unique. I would like to say big thank for all hotel staff for safety policy during this pandemic period.

His Opinion: Non parlo bene Italiano, ma provo a scrivere in Italiano. Il posto è meraviglioso, giardino bellissimo, zona pool design perfetto, le stanze e ristorante anche, - tutto con gusto e bellissimo. La gentilezza ai ristoranti- la sera al interno (eravamo due volte), per pranzo al aperto, tutto era perfetto. Anche colazione ottimo e tutti molto gentile.
Ma a la reception dell'hotel non erano piacevole e utile. Era una discrepanza enorme quando riguardo la gentilezza ai ristoranti. A la reception non ci abbiamo sentiti benvenuti- ripeto: il contrario al ristorante e colazione.
Comunque un bel posto, e penso, che torniamo.

His Opinion: L'hôtel se présente comme un hôtel de luxe, mais n'en a pas les prestations. Personne pour réceptionner les bagages à l'arrivée. Accueil froid, peu cordiale, et peu arrangeant. Information importante qui n'est mentionnée nulle part dans la présentation de l'hôtel : une ligne de train se trouve à coté de l'établissement, il y a donc un bruit de passage toutes les 15 minutes environ. Service à revoir, notamment au petit-déjeuner : attente 50 minutes avant d'être servi, beaucoup trop long.

Dommage, car le lieu est très beau, la chambre confortable et spacieuse. Restaurant étoilé merveilleux. Spa très agréable, et massage d'excellente qualité. Mention spéciale au barman de la piscine qui a su rendre notre séjour agréable malgré les désagréments mentionnés plus haut. La prestation générale n'est pas à la hauteur du prix.

His Opinion: Zash Country Boutique Hotel & Spa ist ein sehr schön gelegenes Hotel inmitten von Zitusbäumen. Der geheizte Pool bei den Suiten ist unschlagbar! Das Essen ist fantastisch. Der Service der Reception ist bloss mittelmässig. Insgesamt waren es aber wunderschöne Ferien.

Zimmer sind stylish aber nicht so übermäßig komfortabel. Die Beleuchtung im Bad kann sich nur ein Mann ausgedacht haben.. Schöner Spa und sehr schönes Restaurant mit sagenhaftem Essen zu ebensolchen Preisen. Gigantische Weinkarte!

His Opinion: Wir waren acht Tage im Cash und haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten einen "Glascube" gebucht und hatten darin außergewöhnliches Design und maximale Ruhe. Die Lage im Orangenhain mit Blick aufs Meer und auf den Etna war jeden Morgen beglückend. Das Personal war immer zuvorkommend und hat jede Anfrage und jeden Wunsch bestens bedient. Als Ausgangspunkt für Tagesfahrten ins Umland ist der Standort ebenfalls sehr gut geeignet. Sicher könnte man den einen oder anderen kleinen Kritikpunkt suchen, der aber aus unserer Sicht den guten und schönen Gesamteindruck nicht schmälern würden.

His Opinion: We only stayed for one night, but everything was excellent. We especially liked the lady who served us at breakfast and lunch the second day. The olive oil we bought was great and makes us remember our stay even though we are back in a rainy Sweden. The dinner was also perfect. Great food and a great wine suggestion!

Amazing boutique hotel ! The place is very beautiful, was plenty of nature around with the beautiful Etna as a landscape. Near to Etna for tours + Taormina + Catania. Very friendly staff (Salvatore!), fantastic food. Our best stay in Sicily !

His Opinion: The „Grand view“ Aetna side is not as described on the website. Nice and spacious though but the bathroom is too small and has no storage room for toileteries.
Otherwise the room is equipped with everything you could wish for. The interior design of the rooms and the whole hotel is very tasteful. The breakfast in the garden with fresh and local food and the setting is a special experience!

Alles sehr schön ausgestattet und gestaltet.

His Opinion: Zu allererst ist zu sagen, dass das gesamte Personal extrem nett und zuvorkommend ist, manche auch lustig!
Der Zug daneben ist zwar nicht zu sehen, aber stark zu hören. .. Man gewöhnt sich aber scnell daran. War kein wirkliches Problem. Einige Zimmer sind bereits etwas abgewohnt und benötigen kleine Reparaturen. Die Kleinigkeiten machen es aus! Und bitte das Zimmerschloßproblem lösen. Die Sauberkeit war absolut in Ordnung.
SOnst... Tolles interessantes Essen. Wenn die Haupt-Karte täglich oder zumindest 2 Mal in der Woche getauscht werden würde, wären wir nicht nur 3 mal essen gegangen, sondern immer.
Ist nur ein Anstoss der vielleicht schwer durchführbar ist.

Sonst ein toller Urlaub!

His Opinion: The pool and how quiet it is, is by far the best thing about this place.

The cons:
-The beds are not comfortable.
-Very odd to have shower in the bedroom and be visible.
-Very little pool food and not amazing service.
-Massage was worst I've ever had.
-There was a dead bird when we arrived on the patio and it was still there when we left 4 days later.
-Dinner food was average.
-Breakfast was the best meal.
-Not enough water in the rooms.
-Check-in did not tell us we had a key to the gate, so when we came home late one night we had to wait for a long time to get in.

His Opinion: Ein traumhaftes Hotel inmitten von Mandarinen- und Zitronenplantagen. Wunderschöne Architektur - alt und modern kombiniert, wie nur in Italien anzutreffen. Sehr nettes Personal, kompetent und äusserst aufmerksam. Eine grossartige, interessante und geschmackvolle Küche. Eine persönliche, ungezwungene aber doch diskrete Atmosphäre. „Italianita“ auf höchstem Niveau. Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis auf allen Ebenen.

His Opinion: Très bel hôtel. Belle demeure typique superbement restaurée. Personnel, surtout à la restauration, vraiment très sympathique et accueillant. La déco est très sympa et inventive, on voit que la personne qui s'en occupe recherche ce qu'il y a de mieux pour son hôtel.
Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel le mardi vers 18H00, c'était le jour de fermeture du restaurant, on nous a proposé un "dîner" imposé de "tapas" (une assiettes de fromage et un peu de charcuterie pour 2) et arancini un peu frugal et bourratif. Le petit déjeuner en revanche était parfait.

The house is superbly renovated combining very modern furniture and design with the antique stone walls and floor.
The park with the orange and mandarine trees and the swimming pool area are beautiful.
Very confortable beds.
As there are few rooms and thus few guests, the atmosphere remains intimate.
Very good restaurant with decently priced wine list.
The minus:
In the rooms priority was given to the design sometime to the detriment of confort : little place to hang to towels and bathrobes, small wardrobe, no place to put luggages away.

His Opinion: Belle restauration. Esthétique au niveau de l'accueil, des chambres, du salon et de la salle à manger. Un design épuré de bon goût. Le centre Spa est à souligner aussi pour son esthétique et la qualité des massages proposés . Je n'oublierai pas de féliciter le chef pour ses plats divers. La piscine est un endroit plein de séreinité parmi les citronniers. Le personnel est aimable.

Cependant, dans ce magnifique endroit , il serait à prévoir des ajustements : peignoir de bain dans les chambres, oranges pressées frais au petit déjeuner et grille pain .

Nous avons séjourné 3 jours dans cet hôtel, nous y reviendrons certainement .

His Opinion: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns tolle Tips für Ausflüge gegeben.
Das Essen war excellent, sehr gute Weine, leckeres Frühstück.
Das Zimmer sehr stylisch, Altes und Modernes sehr gelungen kombiniert.
Sehr schöner, großer Pool, inmitten von Zitrushainen, Blick auf den Ätna....ein Traum.

- Comfort, no system for the towels to dry? (a chair? the ground?)
- Comfort, in the room we have different layers. at night, it is dark, you really have to take care you don not fall

- Courtesy- services: the services of the breakfast were oke. A bit slow (we ask for coffee, tea, take some time); quality of the baked eggs: very good
- Courtesy-services: when we arrived, explanation of the hotel was one, no further explanation of the area, etc. Reactive approach

His Opinion: Kleines, wunderschönes Haus, nur neun Zimmer, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich, persönlicher Kontakt, Zeit zum Reden. Essen hervorragend. Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Allerdings muss man ein Auto haben, um dorthin zu kommen, und um von dort Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Zusammenfassend äusserst empfehlenswert.

His Opinion: Overall, all 5 of my family enjoyed our stay at Zash and the number of queries I had, were dealt with in a professional manner.
I appreciated the owners email addressing my issues and her subsequent price reduction to our final invoice.
All your staff were very helpful and charming, in particular Daniel, who we thought was great. Your restaurant is fabulous in every way and the chef serves a very good standard of Cuisine.
I hope the owner acts on my advice for some 'Private' signs to help guests in Room 10 maintain their privacy.

His Opinion: We had a very enjoyable stay at Zash for 4 nights in mid May. The hotel is a beautiful building in charming surroundings. It's clean, friendly and very relaxing. Breakfast was straightforward continental and whilst we found the lunch menu somewhat limited the quality of food itself was good throughout. Dinner was nothing short of exceptional and I would say enough to warrant a visit to Zash in itself.
All of the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The facilities including the pool were in good condition and well kept. There's a slight lack of things to do nearby and so renting a car is definitely advisable. That said, we did use the bikes to explore the nearby towns.
We would like to thank the staff for making it a very pleasant stay. Should we return to Sicily then we will definitely visit Zash again.

His Opinion: Great architecture and interior design in a rural setting. Beautiful swimming pool.
The location as such is quiet and ideal to relax but the trains and other guests can change this for a while. The bathroom may flood when you have a shower. Still, we shall surely go back there in case we visit the area again!

His Opinion: Avendo soggiornato in una suite abbiamo riscontrato qualche pecca....freddo nella stanza, l'acqua della vasca presente in stanza era tiepida, x cui tra la stanza fresca, il rivestimento di marmo della vasca...il condizionatore rumoroso..da una suite ci si aspetta il massimo x cui abbastanza deludente,"forse" lo avremmo accettato di più se fossimo stati in una camera standard
