Zubebi's dammusi, typical Pantelleria dwellings with thick lava stone walls and dome roofs, have been carefully restored, maintaining their original charm while integrating design furnishings and modern amenities. Each unit is a private retreat that includes one or more bedrooms, a living area, and a covered terrace (ducchena) with views of the sea or the Mediterranean scrub. His Opinion: Sehr schöne und natürliche Insel. Allerdings auch sehr ruhig - für unseren Geschmack hätte es ein wenig lebhafter sein dürfen. Aber das lag bestimmt daran, dass wir Ende Mai da waren, das war zu früh. Die meisten Restaurants/Cafes öffnen erst später. Auch wegen der Temperaturen würde ich nicht vor Juni hinfahren; im Mai war es noch recht kalt auf der Insel.
Das Zubebi Resort ist sehr hübsch und geschmackvoll renoviert. Die Besitzer sprechen leider kein Englisch, deshalb ist es schwer Kontakt zu bekommen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind jedoch sehr nett und bemühen sich sehr um die Gäste.
