“Airth Castle Hotel & Spa Resort” is majestically situated in the lush green countryside of Forth Valley in central Scotland, on an estate once owned by Robert the Bruce on one of the two hills in Airth, overlooking the River Forth.
Today one of Scotland’s most exclusive country retreats, the elegant 14th century castle built near the ruins of a 12th century church and graveyard, offers 14 acres of wooded parkland and luxuriously landscaped gardens in the heart of much of Scotland’s national heritage and historic treasures.
Here in the midst of Braveheart country, guests can wander off to nearby Edinburgh or Glasgow for the day or take a short drive to Scotland’s jewel, Loch Lomond, and the Trossachs National Park.
Each guestroom of this enduring castle exudes and captures a mood, a sensation, an emotion of the spirit that is Airth today. Romantically inspired, it offers all the creature comforts of home, but with incredible views.
For fine dining the Glasshouse restaurant proudly prepares hearty traditional or imaginative modern Scottish fare with passion and flair.

His Opinion: We were very disappointed with our room. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly there was a used piece of soAp in the shower. The bathroom and shower is in need of refurbishment. I expected much more for the price of the room and would not recommend staying there to anyone. Had it not been my nieces wedding iwould have refused to pay full price.

His Opinion: Me, my wife and son had an excellent time during our 2 day stay at Airth Castle. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The facilities met all our needs for the 2 day chill out and the location emant we could visit Stirling Castle within a few minutes drive.
I would recommend this venue to anyone.

His Opinion: Staff were quite obnoxious to be honest. Me and my partner were snubbed a few times by the waiting staff when we were seated at breakfast which made us feel a little uncomfortable. The rooms were quite dated apart from the bathroom which was lovely. We are a young couple both under 25 and to be honest we dont complain about hotels as its obvioulsy a busy place but to be honest we were quite dissapointed in the service. We have a family weekend this weekend at Airth so we will see if the service has improved any. We received this weekend as a gift from parents. Dont get me wrong the food was amazing and the surroundings were beautiful but that can seem so far away when you dont get the best customer service!

His Opinion: We were not given a room shown in the picture on the web site. The room assigned was on the top floor with no window outlook. The hallway on that floor had just been painted with an oil based paint that provided a strong odor in the room. After some hassle due to shortage of alternative rooms. We were assigned a much nicer room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent, food was great. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip, however I will be very careful to verify that we are assigned a decent room first.

His Opinion: Zimmer im Schloss sind sehr schön. Leider ist der komplette Service mit Rezeption und Restaurant im angegrenzten(modernen hässlichen) Resort und nicht im Schloss!
