“Hotel Le Fontanelle”, a prestigious 5-star hotel in the centre of Tuscany, was created by the conservative renovation of an ancient farm-house complex whose centre dates back to the 13th century. His Opinion: The hotel is beautiful and very comfy. However it is not a hotel for family. It is for couples. I have 2 kids (9y and 1y) and the hotel has nothing to offer to them in terms of leisure and recreation.
One of the restaurants doesn't even allow kids below 14 years old and the SPA is not for kids as well. The beautiful outdoor pool (found in several photos when you are booking) is not allowed as well !!
Have to say that despite of the above comment, we appreciate the staff, the GREAT breakfast and the treats in the bedroom.

Suggestions d’amélioration : le sauna n’était jamais chaud, une bouilloire dans la chambre serait bienvenue (café thé), la partie bar pourrait avoir un fond musical d’ambiance pour la rendre plus chaleureuse
