“Lucignanello Bandini”, hidden among the chalky Siena countryside, is a pretty village in the heart of Tuscany, near the city of art and the renowned cultivations of Montalcino and Pienza wines.
To stay in this luxurious residence means to live in harmony with the slow rhythm of nature, and with its enchanting surrounding countryside: the rolling hills dotted here and there with a solitary cypress-tree, and the moving-in-the-breeze centuries-old olive-trees, which the proprietor family are justly proud considering that the high-quality olive oil of their own production has been awarded the title of one of the best in Tuscany.
Numerous welcoming lodgings of various dimensions are situated in the houses and ancient stables of the village. The arrangement of the elegant spaces, knowledgably restored down to the last detail, combines with great harmony the needs of today with the patrimony of yesterday.
The clear tones of the travertine and the bed linen – some beds canopy-beds -, the reddish colour of the craftsman terracotta, suggestive fireplaces, wall decorations, frescoes and rare craftsman pottery.
All areas breathe the fascination of this magic countryside which has changed little since the great renaissance masters painted it.
