The Colonnade London: Boutique Elegance and History in Little Venice

The Colonnade is a charming 4-star boutique hotel located in the quiet and picturesque Little Venice neighborhood, Maida Vale, London. The hotel is known for its unique history: it was here, according to legend, that Sigmund Freud stayed upon his arrival in England. It offers an atmosphere of traditional English elegance and intimate, personalized service.

Charming Rooms and Suites Inspired by the Victorian Era

The 43 rooms and suites are individually decorated, many with a theme that honors the building's Victorian past. Elements like original marble fireplaces, high ceilings, and lavish furnishings combine to create a cozy luxury environment. The suites, in particular, offer a sense of grandeur and space.

The Unique Room with a Private Lift

A distinctive feature of the hotel is its luxurious duplex suite with a private lift leading up to the bedroom, a detail that adds a touch of eccentricity and exclusive luxury. The hotel successfully combines a country house atmosphere with the convenience and efficiency of a London boutique hotel.

Elegant and Intimate Dining

The hotel's restaurant offers a modern European menu in an elegant and intimate setting. It is a popular gathering spot for guests and local residents. Breakfast is served in a bright and welcoming room, maintaining the ambiance of a private home rather than a large commercial hotel.

A Haven of Quietude in the Heart of Little Venice

The location in Little Venice offers unexpected tranquility in London. Proximity to the canals and water buses adds a unique charm. The Colonnade is the ideal choice for those seeking an experience of discreet luxury, a strong sense of history, and authentically English hospitality away from the central hustle and bustle.
