Tulloch Castle Hotel in Dingwall, an 'A Bespoke Hotel', is an imposing Scottish castle dating back to the 12th century, famous for its rich history, connections to the MacLeod Clan, and ghost legends. It offers a unique stay experience, combining the gothic charm of a historic castle with the modern comfort of a hotel.
The castle was the seat of the Davidson Clan chiefs for centuries and has been carefully restored to preserve its original features, including vaulted ceilings and an impressive main staircase. The gothic architecture and thick walls offer a complete immersion in the history of the Highlands.
Tulloch Castle is renowned for being one of Scotland's most haunted hotels. Stories of sightings, particularly the Green Lady, add an intriguing and mysterious element to the stay. For paranormal enthusiasts, the hotel also organizes guided tours of the historic areas.
The rooms are furnished in a traditional style, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, many located in the oldest parts of the castle. They offer a comfortable base from which to explore the surrounding area, with some boasting panoramic views of the Black Isle and the Highlands.
Situated near Dingwall and a short distance from Inverness, Tulloch Castle is a strategic starting point for adventures in the North of Scotland. It is perfect for visiting the lochs, mountains, and Highland whisky sites, offering a combination of history, mystery, and exploration.

His Opinion: on s'attendait à mieux
le personnel n'est pas forcément à la hauteur
l'ambience pleinement medieval (ou chatelaine) manque un peu

His Opinion: Thank you for the very warm welcome of the staff.
The hotel is great, our bedroom was small but cosy with a nice bathroom.
We did not enjoy the meals : breakfasts were dull, with poor jams and juices. And dinner was not good : the dessert happened to be sour (out of date), but the server did not even apologize and did not offer anything else.
Pity.

His Opinion: En general todo bien, menos el servicio de desayuno, que era muy lento y siempre faltaban cosas.
